Children in need can be found through your local church, orphanage or civic organizations. There are many children living in poverty everywhere, even in the United States. The number of children living in poverty and/or without parents is largest in third-world nations. We are asking everyone to make an independent effort to find children in need and give them an I (Heart) Kids T-shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie or other I (Heart) Kids gift item. This is a great way to help children in need everywhere as it is a gift of love and lets children know that someone, somewhere loves them.
Yes, children living in poverty need more than just a T-shirt. They often need food, shelter, medicine, and someone to love them to provide a home and constant care. Qualified adoptive parents are certainly much in need by orphans throughout the world. Giving a T-shirt is just a first step, a gift of love, which we hope will spark everyone's interest in helping children in need around the world. You do not need to stop with just one T-shirt. You can give as many as you want; plus, you can organize an effort to give a child more than just a T-shirt. We recommend everyone put together a "Care Package" containing items that a child in poverty may need, and that these be distributed to children in need through a local church, orphanage or other civic organization which volunteers to help in this effort.
Assembling "care packages" for children in need makes a great project for church groups or other organizations. Individuals may help by starting a I (Heart) Kids Care Package Project in their community. Everything you need may be donated by local businesses.
What should go into an I (Heart) Kids Care Package. First, every package should contain "LOVE." That is why the I (Heart) Kids gifts were created. Each package should contain one or more I (Heart) Kids T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies or other I (Heart) Kids gift items. I (Heart) Kids apparel come in all sizes for children of all ages; plus, there are also items available for infants.

You should mark your I (Heart) Kids Care Packages with the age child that it is appropriate or meant for and distribute these through a church, orphanage, civic organization or other social services agency which has trained professionals who know and work with those children and families that are in need. If you establish a relationship with a person at a social service group or agency, they can help you arrange giving I (Heart) Kids Care Packages to children in need.
We want to encourage everyone who uses Facebook or other social networking services to join with us to give a T-shirt to every needy child in the world. We hope that at least 1-million Facebook members will purchase an I (Heart) Facebook T-shirt or other I (Heart) Kids gift item and give it to a child somewhere in the world.

Please Help!Please help. We want to produce one-million I (Heart) Facebook gifts for children around the world to promote social networking as a way to help solve the world's problems and lift people everywhere out of poverty! We want to produce the I (Heart) Facebook design shown on T-shirts, sweatshirts and other gifts and apparel. We would like Facebook's President and/or CEO to please give permission to do this; then to buy a million I (Heart) Facebook gifts/apparel, and help us to donate these to children in Haiti or other third-world nations. Facebook has billions of dollars. Certainly they could afford to do this. But we need permission to put our original I (Heart) Facebook design on products so CafePress or another POD service provider can reproduce them and Facebook can then order a million products.
